"Beaches", is a story about two girls who meet on the beach in Atlantic City when they are very young. These two girls, C.C. Bloom (Bette Midler) and Hillary Whitney (Barbara Hershey), didn't know it at that moment but they were destined to have what most of us hope to have at least once in our lifetime. To have a friendship that will last our entire life.

"Once in a Lifetime" is what I call this fanlisting based solely on this fact. Through good times and bad times, through broken marriages and budding and faltering careers, and through tragedy they always had each other. And they faced all of life's challenges together as only best friends could. This movie has comedy, drama and critically acclaimed music. This movie delves into their lives and draws you in with it's warmth, humor and tenderness.
